Small But Mighty
The MCG Minis are a plan concept we’ve developed to help solve several housing challenges for individuals and small families moving to North Florida.
Attainability
First and foremost, housing has become incredibly expensive to produce, resulting in sustained high retail prices. By designing homes that are efficient in their use of space, they can meet the practical needs of their owners, and with selective finishes, can still represent their style and personalities, but be less expensive in the process.
Land Cost
Another factor contributing to the expense of homes today is the cost of the land. By designing a more efficient plan, which uses less land area, the MCG Minis can be built in higher density areas, contributing to a quality streetscape, but having a lower land cost, so the end product can be delivered at a lower cost.
Land Availability
Hand-in-hand with land expense, is land availability. As home builders intimately familiar with the Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, Yulee, and Jacksonville areas, some of the greatest opportunities to still build new, and towards city centers, is with a smaller footprint. It allows us to place homes amongst existing homes, allowing them to compliment each other, and their area, but doing so on lots that traditional homes may not work.
