What is your favorite aspect of working at MCG?

The people.

What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?

I am pretty involved with my church. Also, I am currently taking online classes toward my masters with Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

What's a fun fact about you that most people don't know?

I am a second degree black belt.

What are your credentials? How many years have you been in the industry?

I have been in the construction industry for about three years. Before MCG I worked as a technician for a fire water and mold remediation company. I started as a gopher (runner) after about a year I started helping the project managers with admin work. I have not been in HR long, but greatly enjoy it.

What’s your favorite design feature or architectural style?

I’m a man of simple tastes, soft closers on drawers. A small touch that elevates any space.

What is your favorite/ most complex project you’ve worked on?

The award winning Riorden Project. I was able to help frame the walls of the addition’s second story. A great client, and a great final product.

What’s the one thing that makes a home feel truly special to you?

The people. What good is a house with a bowling alley and a movie theater if there’s no one to share it with?

If MCG had a signature candle scent, what would it smell like?

Citrona

If you could build a dream home for any fictional character, who would it be?

Any one of the four hobbits, possibly Pippin. I’ve always wondered how one builds a house into the side of a hill.
