What is your favorite aspect of working at MCG?
I love the team aspect and family feel of the company.
What are some of your hobbies or interests outside of work?
I love the ocean and the beach! I am an avid "mermaid loot" collector (sea shells and shark teeth). My husband and I love to travel, take cruises and explore new places. Our paddle boards, snorkel gear and bikes are some of our favorite possessions!
What's a fun fact about you that most people don't know?
I sang the National Anthem at the Bausch & Lomb Championships in 1999.
What are your credentials? How many years have you been in the industry?
I have been a housewife & homeschool mom for 20 years, once our kids were grown and graduated, I decided to go back to work. I began working again in August of 2022, at a local church here in Fernandina. I started as Student Ministry Director, then moved to Church Secretary in 2023, and then into the Financial Administrator Role in November of 2024 until July of 2026.
What’s your favorite design feature or architectural style?
Natural light!
What is your favorite/ most complex project you’ve worked on?
Myself! God's mercies are new every morning! Every day I am allowed to wake up is a new beginning. Each day, I must wake up with praise and thanksgiving for what God has done and is doing in my life, even though it may be tough to do or see that fact in the circumstances of life. My identity is founded in Christ, and i must strive daily to persue Him in ALL things.
What’s the one thing that makes a home feel truly special to you?
The kitchen! I love to cook and entertain, so the kitchen is the hub of my house. I love an open concept and the ability to be in the kitchen and still have the ability to have conversations and interact with all that is going on around the home.
